I’m a little more than 1 Month into my Fit Figure training and I feel incredible… ridiculously sore, but incredible.
However, I can’t say that I’ve felt incredible every day. There are days where I have to pick myself up and drag myself into the gym, there are days where I feel as though I am not making any progress, there are days where I am so sore that washing my hair becomes a HUGE task, and there are days where I fall victim to some not-so-acceptable food choices. If I could share just one piece of advice– The important thing is to just keep on keepin’ on.
I’m a big believer in the power of visualization. Once you have a vision in your head of who you wish to become, of how much strength and character you want to someday possess, those once big obstacles become tiny inconviences. The mind is a beautiful thing. You can make it powerful, and once you conquer your mind… you can conquer your body. 🙂
I’m super excited to share progress pictures with you soon! I’m beginning to see definition and new cuts of muscles I never knew that I had! It’s awe-inspiring. It truly is. I’m almost in shock. You can laugh because I laugh about it too. Why am I so suprised? I’ve studied the human body, the anatomy, the muscle groups and fibers, and read a plethora of health and fitness books and journals. Why the heck am I so suprised?
…because it took me years to figure out how to transform my body. Not because I didn’t know what I needed to do, but because my mind told me that I wasn’t cable of doing it.
And that is the sole reason why I am writing this blog, and the number one reason why I live my life the way that I do every, single, day. I’m not only here to inspire and motivate, I’m also here to tell you that…
You can do it.
You are capable.
You are strong.
You are beautiful.
…and don’t let anyone ever tell you differently.
